Free webinar on the National Community Attitudes towards Violence Against Women Survey

Event Date
7 Mar 2018 1:00pm to 2:00pm

In the lead-up to International Women’s Day, ANROWS (with the support of VicHealth) will be hosting a webinar on the National Community Attitudes towards Violence Against Women Survey, or the NCAS.

This webinar will interest those working in the prevention of violence against women in a range of settings, from policy and practice to education and advocacy. If you’ve ever found it difficult to find the evidence you need to challenge commonly held myths around violence against women or explain the link between violence against women and gender inequality, this webinar will help.

Presenters:

Kristin Diemer, The University of Melbourne
Kellie Nagle, Policy Adviser, Preventing Violence Against Women, Municipal Association of Victoria
Violeta Marticorena Politoff, Senior Research Officer (NCAS), ANROWS
Natalie Russell, Principal Program Officer, VicHealth

This webinar is an opportunity to (re)familiarise yourself with the NCAS, find ways it can be applied to your work, and begin considering how the next wave of NCAS will further support what you do.
