This evaluation explores the impact of a family violence awareness session delivered by Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE) for the Manna Gum Clyde North Friendship Group in October 2024. The session focused on challenging myths about family violence, exploring the role of intersectionality, and strengthening understanding of gender equality within culturally diverse communities. The evaluation highlights participant engagement, increased awareness of structural drivers of violence, and the value of culturally responsive education in supporting respectful and informed community dialogue.
