This evaluation explores the impact of Consent Matters – Disability, a program developed by Sexual Health Victoria and Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE) to support disability support workers in having conversations about consent, respectful relationships, and sexual health with young people with cognitive disabilities. Delivered through online learning and interactive workshops, the program strengthened participant knowledge, confidence, and practice. The evaluation highlights improved understanding of consent education, increased confidence in practice, and sustained positive impacts 12 weeks post-training.
