This evaluation examines the impact of Project Respect, an initiative led by the City of Casey in partnership with Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE) and Geographic Names Victoria. Through youth engagement, research, and storytelling, the project encouraged students to challenge gender inequality in public recognition by celebrating the contributions of local women. The evaluation highlights participant experiences, key outcomes from the Youth Symposium and Grand Finale, and opportunities to replicate and scale this innovative model of commemorative justice.
