Let’s work together for a gender equitable region

Together, we can create a world that is equitable and free from violence; a world where all people are safe, healthy and thriving.

On the 22nd of August, at the Springvale City Hall, WHISE will bring together partners from across the Southern Metropolitan Region for an all-day event to celebrate the collective energy and work to achieve intersectional gender equity.

WHISE hopes that this conference will deliver an opportunity for our partners to connect, share their work, learn from one another, and celebrate our ongoing commitment to gender equity.

We know we are better together.

Expressions of Interest

WHISE is now calling for expressions of interest from partners and stakeholders to present at our conference on how they are:

  • Preventing violence against women and family violence
  • Creating gender equitable organisations
  • Improving women’s health and wellbeing

These presentations can either be a workshop or a panel or one person presentation and will describe and encourage conversations at the conference on changes that were sought or that occurred in our community, be they big or small, about you, about your colleagues, or about your community.
