Bridging Now to Next

On 27 May – 3 June, Australia celebrates National Reconciliation Week 2025. These dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey – the successful 1967 referendum, and the High Court Mabo decision respectively.

This year’s theme Bridging Now to Next reflects on the ongoing connection between past, present and future. It is a call to all Australians to step forward together whilst holding onto the lessons the past has taught us.

This National Reconciliation Week, WHISE encourages colleagues, community, and partners to learn more about our shared histories, cultures and achievements. There are many events happening across the region that you can participate in. Check them out:
