About Us:

Since 1988, WHISE has been at the forefront of women's health advocacy in Victoria. We're not just an organization; we're a movement dedicated to empowering women across 10 local government areas, from South Melbourne to the Mornington Peninsula.

Your Role:

As our Community Outreach Lead, you'll be the bridge between WHISE and the diverse communities we serve. Your creativity and passion will drive programs

that break down barriers and uplift women, especially those from migrant and refugee backgrounds.

What You'll Do:

  • Craft innovative strategies to build lasting community partnerships
  • Design and lead health promotion programs that make a real difference
  • Tailor evidence-based approaches for unique cultural contexts
  • Be the voice for women's health at community events and forums
  • Secure funding to expand our impact

Who You Are:

  • A qualified professional in health promotion, social work, or related fields
  • An experienced program designer with a track record of community engagement
  • A champion for gender equality and social justice
  • An excellent communicator with cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Someone who brings their whole self to work, including lived experiences
