This report presents the findings from WHISE’s 2024-25 Partner Survey, highlighting the impact of our partnerships on advancing gender equity, preventing gender-based violence, and strengthening organisational capacity across the Southern Metropolitan Region. It also identifies future priorities for collaboration and capability-building. The findings show:
  • Strong organisational change: Up to 79% of partners reported positive changes in policies and practices related to gender equality, respectful relationships, and inclusive workplaces as a result of WHISE’s support.
  • High engagement and commitment: Most partners rated their engagement and commitment to WHISE as ‘high’ or ‘very high’, reflecting strong alignment with WHISE’s goals and trusted relationships.
  • Deep impact in prevention and equity work: Gender equality and prevention of gendered violence were the most embedded areas of collaboration, with over 80% of partners reporting high commitment.
  • WHISE seen as a feminist, collaborative leader: Partners most commonly described WHISE as “collaborative”, “inclusive”, “feminist”, and “empowering”, highlighting WHISE’s values-driven and relational approach.
  • Future needs identified: Partners called for more support in areas like inclusive recruitment, gender equity in infrastructure and planning, school-based sexual health education, and intersectional practice with migrant and refugee communities.
