There is much to celebrate in this budget from the Victorian Government. Additional funding has been
provided to the Women’s Health Services for the next two years and this is in partnership with additional
measures to strengthen and support the health and care sector – both highly feminised industries.
How this will impact our region is still to be determined and WHISE encourages all our partners in the SMR to
continue our work together to ensure that investments emerging from the budget benefit our region.
