Mastering Menopause Program

Mastering Menopause 2024

WHISE is establishing a Mastering Menopause Program, funded by the Victorian Government. We are seeking women and gender diverse people experiencing perimenopause or menopause who live in the Southern Metropolitan Region to apply!

For women and those assigned female at birth, the natural transition to menopause is something we will all experience. For many, it’s accompanied by both physical (such as hot flashes) and mental symptoms (such as changes to mood).

Despite women and girls making up half the population, menopause is under studied and undertreated, and the voices of women who experience it have not been centred.

What is the Mastering Menopause Program?

Mastering Menopause is both an enrichment and leadership program. Throughout the program, we will guide participants in taking time for yourself, standing up for yourself (particularly in medical settings), and finding mutual support to manage menopause and perimenopause.

Program group size is maximum 15 participants.

The first masterclass will be held on Tuesday 20 February, 6-8pm. The program will run until July 2025.
