As part of WHISE’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, Digital Safety Matters: Get Switched On, we’ve created this page to help multicultural communities, and the wider community, find support in their preferred language.
Everyone deserves to feel safe and supported, online and offline. If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, control or harm, there are free and confidential services that can help.
Support in your language
You can get help and information in more than 15 languages about how to recognise and respond to tech-based abuse. Visit the eSafety Commissioner’s website to:

WIRE – free support, information and referrals for all women, nonbinary and gender-diverse people across Victoria.
Ask Izzy – connects people in crisis with housing, food, money help, family violence support and more.
Rainbow Door – free helpline and specialist support for LGBTIQA+ Victorians, their friends and families.
Sunny App – designed by and for women with disabilities to learn about violence, understand rights and find support.
The Orange Door – help for people experiencing or using family violence, or needing support for children and young people.
Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre – 24/7 crisis support and safe accommodation for women and children.
Yarning SafeNStrong – culturally safe support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
